I've just been lucky enough to be given a Sony PSP as a gift and and wonder if anyone has any recommendations for where to download games, movies etc...cheers. I'd quite like to get hold of some classic games if possible.

That would be illegal so don't expect any help here.0

The PlayStation Network sell some classic games for the PSP I believe. Most of them only cost a few pounds too. I believe you can also buy a pack containing loads of Mega Drive games, should you wish to remind yourself what a crap game Altered Beast was.
As for movies, I just rip them from my DVDs and put them on a memory stick. It uses up less battery power watching them (as the UMD isn't spinning), and it also means you don't have to buy all your movies twice. Technically illegal, but I'll be bugggered if I'm going to pay £12.99 to watch a film I already own. I would imagine downloaded films would hve copy-protection, meaning you couldn't convert them to watch on the PSP.0 -
Don't recall asking for illegal games or movies, I was merely asking as I know there are places you can download legal content and as I am new to PSP thought I would ask...I don't condone illegal downloading as I am very aware where the money goes to!That would be illegal so don't expect any help here.0 -
That's fair enough then although to be fair you could of made your original post a little clearer.

Marty has given some good advice and there are programs out there where you can rip your original dvds into a psp viewable format.
