just back from holiday , my screen on my ditigal camera got busted . does this come under personal luggage as damaged . it was working when i packed it in my hand luggage in a camera case,when i got to my hotel , the screen was not working . any help is gratefully recieved. my inssurance was with atlas

No insurance policy in the UK will cover you for the mechanical breakdown of your camera. To make a successful claim, you would need to prove that the camera was damaged by an accident. I'm sorry to say it does not sound like you will be able to claim.In the beginning, the universe was created.
