Next iPhone Release..?

Hi,
I was just wondering if Apple had any plans to release a next generation of iPhones anytime soon? Perhaps a nano version?
I do want an iPhone and am due an upgrade with o2 in a couple of months but would be tempted to hold off on upgrading if a new version of the iphone was to be relased early next year.

Probably wouldn't be till next June/July and I doubt you'd get a 'nano' version as the battery would be tiny meaning an unusable phone.0

MacRumors' buyer's guide suggests it's in the middle of a product cycle. I would be surprised if we saw an update before next year sometime.0

the latest iphone isn't even 3 months old... it came out on the 11th July...
it is really doubtful that anything new will come out this side of christmas, if that is what you're thinking0 -
