Windows Moviemaker help please

Hi. I'm muddling my way through learning to use Moviemaker for my video clips made with my little Creative Vado. I put lots of clips into the Storyboard and it was looking great. I've gone back to do some more to it and the Storyboard won't play. The movie loads from the folder and clips show in the Storyboard at the bottom but it doesn't run. As it is quite a long video (23 minutes of my holiday) it desperately needs editing.

Any ideas as to what I should do? I've looked under Help and can't find anything useful.

    does movie maker freeze ?
anything really longer than 5 minutes may cause WMM to struggle -

i take it you have saved the project.
try cutting it into 3 or 4 parts
save each one as a WMV file. so you will end up with 4 wmv's. then start a fresh prject by importing these 4 (or however many) back into WMM and saving it as one big finished file

Yes its freezes and I have saved it as a project. It did work when it was first saved but not now.

I think I'll have to recopy the clips as I can't seem to play the individual bits either. I can see the order though from the storyboard (as it still give the initial shot and clip numbers) so it shouldn't be too difficult.

I suppose I was being a bit ambitious for my second attempt!

Thanks for the help. I'll have another go.

I'm still having this problem, even with smaller clips. Movie Maker will play individual clips but not a storyboard of video clips joined together. Anyone know where I'm going wrong please?
