HI there
I've just plugged some speakers in on my PC and it reckons that there's no audio device installed - under control panel, it's all greyed out. When I try and play a Windows sound, it says that the soundcard may already be in use. However, when I put a CD in, volume semi-works with sound coming out of speakers. I don't have any discs, etc from when my PC was new (I bought it with everything pre-installed from an independent retailer). As people may know from my previous posts I'm not much of a techie. Is this something I'll be able to fix?!?
Advice welcomed!!!
Thanks

Hi there
Have run the program as suggested. Under Multimedia is:
C-Media AC97 Audio Device
Standard Game Port
Unimodem Half-Duplex Audio Device
Hope this means something to you!
Thanks
Steve
PS - also the following was reported. Do I need to run this too?!?
