Thanks Miss Spooky, this advice is correct. However we fall into the exception category - my child is cared for outside of the home and along side another child who is not related to her.

We looked into this very carefully before we set this up.

Also my mum does all my childcare and I pay her £1200 a month via child care element of WTC. If I were to take a paid job , will they WTC still pay my mums wages or will I have to? I do not want to take my dear mum 'down' with me. She retired from a well paid job to look after my kids and cannot afford to be 'sacked' by me - she would lose evrything too.

Im sorry but your wayyyy outta line. Maybe if you read into the post the intent. which was a joke and MMCA is a great guy and very helpful.

Maybe if you took the time to read some of the posts on this board you would realise that.

He and no one on this board have yet been judgemental or been negative with you, and tbh if your going to be rude and brash I doubt you will get the advice and guidance your looking for.

As insinuating that MMCA was avoiding something in the UK, thats not really an assumption you could make, and really you shouldnt come on here JUDGING PEOPLE for there geographical location. It means nothing. This site is accessable from all over the world, again if you took the time you would see posts from people in Austrailia, USA aswell as EUROPE!!!!

Show dragon - there are no jokes when you are in this mess. The comments , not just in this post have been outta line from this mmca. Not acceptable to me. Perhaps if you were to read the posts more thoroughly and empathise with the person thay were intended for, you may have adifferent opinion.

As you seem to have a problem with the very helpful advice on here Haddit, they maybe i can suggest you go to one of the helplines that have been suggested to you several times, by many users.

And Max may have Benidorm on his profile, but at the click of a button, i could have Barbados....but it doesn't mean i actually live there.
Max has been very helpful to you from what i've seen, and, as he has run his own business, i feel his advice is more than useful.
This is 'straight from the horses mouth' advice your recieving,
If you'd prefer more 'straight from the book' advice then call one of the helplines, but you might not like what you hear there either.

Hear hear, bltn. mmca has always been helpful imho, but you are of course allowed to disagree with him, haddit, and to not have the same soh. I've been finding CCCS very helpful over the past couple of days. Why not give them a try? CBx
