Cheap Wireless printer

I am looking at getting a wireless printer but need one that is very reasonably priced. I am looking to do a small amount of printing and also scanning some old photos in to add to disk/upload to facebook etc.

I have been looking at these two but have heard Lexmark are dear to run. Is this really the case and has anyone got any other suggestions?

I have a Brother DCP-340CW wireless all-in-one unit which I am happy with.
I do not use original Brother replacements ink carts but use compatible ones from Ebay with no problems.
A set of 4 compatible carts can cost under £10.00 if yiu look around.
  • Do not get the lexmark one. They are very cheap but the print cartridges are hugely expensive to replace and very small too. They are often faulty and are not always able to be refilled.
  • Do not buy either of your proposed printers. You need a laser and look at the Brother range of multi functional devices (MFD) B/W printing is very cheap and 2,500 images /refill. COLOUR scanner built in (you asked for that) and copier function too! Does OCR and converts documents for filing.
Look for the All-in-One range. Sold everywhere. Go get one today!! THIS is what I use and paid over £120 now at £64
    HERE

Wireless would be a different model but they do have them.

The Brother laser all in one device looks very good for the price, BUT the OP needs to be aware that it only prints in mono, not in colour.

OP may not need a colour printer, but then again may want one.

A visit to somewhere like Staples for a look around might be worth it as they often have deals on printers that are not on the website.
