Can you explain a courtesy car & car insurance to me please?
Can you explain a courtesy car & car insurance to me please?
My insurance is up on 17 Oct, so was looking for a good quote today.
I paid (Diamond) extra last year for a guaranteed courtesy car in case I need one last year, one of the firms I spoke to today, told me their is no such thing as a guaranteed courtesy car, its just a gimmick
I live in a village badly served by buses, so I NEED my car to get to work, should I have an accident (whether my fault or theirs) or my car stolen (unlikely) or whatever I need wheels while things are being sorted. Is there a way i can make sure of this?
Does paying the courtesy car add on guarantee you one in all cases (except mechanical failure of course)?
Got some decent quotes using the online search engines, I just need to know should I pay this as an extra? Or is it no better than what the others offer with the policy.
Will be getting fully comp on a 10 month old car, in case you need details.
Just me driving.

well if it's guaranteed then yes ,a small loan car and some insurane companys will sell you a addon for something like £25 for a hire if yours get wrote off for 28 days and thing like that
i know the aa guaranteed a courtesy car and for £25 addon the same sort of car for a courtesy car,i just think it money making because if your car got wrote off you can get bangers that will put you on cheap enough until you fined the right car again and you have a part ex toothere or their, one day i might us the right one ,until then tuff0 -

But at £25 its much cheaper than a banger to keep you going. But I guess you mean coupled with the chances of never using it?
IF thats what it means & without it I don't get a guranteed car then for me for £25 (said about lack of buses) then its a good deal. I think!0
