Surely there must be something you can do in the house while waiting?
Take the time to chill out and not be so impatient. Read a book, catch up on paperwork, do some cleaning, take a radio/portable dvd player etc etc
We are all busy but., if your not at work (or need to book a day off) whats the problem?0
