Of course the stock market would like to refloat itself - but since 1998 (really) every time it has launched itself it has come a cropper. In other words these revivials all peter out.
Perhaps we need to get a 'new' stockmarket and not invest anything in London?.....under construction.... COVID is a [discontinued] scam0 -
There are certain sections (News quiz Friday 3rd Oct e.g.) that believe that the whole point of the crisis was to (re)launch Peston's career.
Not that I'd subscribe to that particular line of thought of course.
(Though I did find it amusing.)
