Just purchased Family Trainer for £37.71 from Asda in Wythenshawe Manchester. Not on display but asked at the counter and they had a pile in the back.

Ok, have finally given in to pressure from my kids and bought a wii for the family (who am I trying to kid - the children will hog it!!) for Xmas and saw this advertised on the tv which seems like a good game. Only can't really afford to spend out more on wii products this month so wanted to wait until a bit nearer Xmas. My only worry is that, like the Wii Fit, it is going to become really hard to get hold of and I will end up missing out, in which case I should probably burden the credit card a bit more this month and get it while I can.

Does anyone have an opinion whether this is going to prove really popular with the masses, only being available on ebay for twice the price, or whether it is good, but not that good?

    Thanks in advance

if the wii fit is going to still be in short supply ppl are going to buy the family trainer instead. Plus it's a lot cheaper and in my opinion a better game for the kids so yes i think if you leave it to long it will be out of stock.

Have you already bought other games for the wii, if so this shoudl see you through xmas if not I'd buy now.

Has anybody used theirs yet? I got two on pre order but don't want to open them as they are for presents.

However, a friend said he has opened his and the lead from the mat does not fit into the console. He said something about the lead from the mat is square and all the holes on the console are round. Do I need to buy adapters?

    Thank you

  • Hi, haven't got mine yet but the mat plugs into one of the Wii’s GameCube controller ports. Think these are behind a cover.

Thanks lesw for the code as I have now ordered it for the lovely price of £36.99 with delivery. I think you might get asked to remove the code as I'm sure the only place you can post these is on the voucher and codes board, with a bit of luck a nice mod might move it over there for you.
Thanks again I have hit ya thanks button for you
