UK only travel insurance

Hi, does anyone know if it's possible to get UK only travel insurance ? I've been looking on the travel insurance sites and they all seem to exclude trips within the UK unless it involves a sea crossing.
I'm one of these strange people that travels a lot to watch football so I'm interested to see if there is UK only travel insurance to cover me for delayed/cancelled transport and for missed matches due to delayed/cancelled transport.

I noticed my policy covers travel in the UK, but as medical care is free in the hospital, my bags are covered on my home insurance and travel delay claims tend to have a 12 hour exclusion period, it seems like a waste of money to me.

That said, I pay £30 a year for annual European travel insurance that includes this restricted UK cover (www.halifax.co.uk/insurance) and I'm sure other companies do the same. So if you holiday abroad too, something along these lines may be a good idea.

I think barclaycard had a uk holiday option on their website. you don't have to hold a barclaycard to get the insurance either. might be worth a look.
