Cashback on Credit Card Cheque

Options
I have just received some Capital One purchace rate credit card cheques. Can I write one to pay into a bank account, then pay the CC balance off each month as usual? This would then give me 1% cashback. I cannot see anything in the T&Cs about cashback on purchace rate cheques ( there are restrictions on cash withdrawals).

Anyone done this, or a thought to stop my plan?

I've had several cashback cards and credit card cheques have always been exluded from the cashback.

Most screw you for extoritionate fees and interest too!

The 3%(or whatever) charge on issuing one (treated as cash)? With interest charged from the date of issue?
    Conjugating the verb 'to be":
-o I am humble -o You are attention seeking -o She is Nadine Dorries

They specifically say 'purchase rate cheques' i.e. not cash. On the enclosed T&Cs summary for CC cheques it says max 56 days interest free period for purchases (as normal card purchases).

Capital One have given cashback on "P" cheques in the past; my son made a lot of money out of his, earning 1% cashback. You may be lucky, why not ask them?
