Halifax International Regular Saver

Hello All,
apologies if this has been covered before, but I just wanted to find out if the Halifax International Regular Saver :

was the same offer which was introduced in July this year?
Also, how is this different to a normal National savings account?

It's not the same one. This one allows up to £2000 per month to be saved (the other was only £500), but has far less protection than the UK one. The Isle of Man protection scheme only covers 75% of the first £20k saved, so it is riskier (that said, Halifax is probably now one of the safer places for your money given its takeover by LTSB).0

Yes, it was 10%. Halifax still do a normal regular saver (i.e. non-international) at 7% as well.0
