my partner purchased a pair of (supposedly) ghd straighteners in feb 08 from a amazon seller for my birthday, within a couple of months they begain to chip so we tried to contact the seller without any success ,so spoke to amazon themselves who would not help in any way,so i returned them to ghd who were really helpful ,but when they inspected them found them to be fakes and not up to international safty standard so anyone out there who has purchased these dangerous counterfeits from the amazon seller mamyounis be very careful i have told amazon who again wont help ,and have passed all information on to ghd who want all details to stop this happening to people like me .so dont you good people get ripped off buy from a reputable company (as then you will get your money back )my partner payed £86.95 and £4.00p+p we have learned our lesson.
