Hello all
can someone answer this for me please?
the small print on the insurance i want says that you must have been working for the last 6 months for the unemployment cover to be in place.
I have been employed but off sick (on ssp)due to an accident and am now back at work. I realise that my accident & related things will not be covered but if I were made unemployed next week would I be classed as having been working?
thanks a lot:T

Who is the provider? It's probably best to enquire directly to the provider (or via a broker if your using one) for a definative answer.
It would be easy to say "sure, no problem that means employed for six months prior to the start date of the policy" but the bottom line is that if you take it our on that premise and it turns out to be wrong, what come-back have you got?...None0
