  • I just love fried black pudding sprinkled over a salad -in small bits of course!
May you fill up the great clutterbucket of life and may all of your leaks be in cheese sauce:D

OOH! i`ve not had any of this for ages, thanks for reminding me that it exists :D I`m going to have to buy some on my next shop.

Sorry can`t help with the ideas though as i like it grilled or fried on a huge cooked brekkie.

Think it keeps a long time anyway but you could always freeze some chopped up into portion sizes so that you`re not trying to use it all at once and get all black puddinged out :D

    Enjoy it *mouth waters*

I make a pork meat loaf and make the centre black pudding, wrap it in bacon and bake in a bain marie type thing in the oven.
I also make black pudding mash, black pudding fritters in batter, sprinkle on pizza when I need to use up all sorts of stuff.

    Great ideas..

I have frozen half of it as it was just to much. I hadn't thought of it over a salad but that sounds great and slightly more healthy then my big breakfast idea.

I must admit to liking the sound of fritters and mash.

I bet it would work great with rhubarb, I don't have any in but will keep an eye out at the market and see if I can get some

    Hi Gothicfairy

I have added your thread to the existing one on black pudding, so we can keep all the suggestions together. If you go to the beginning and read back you should get plenty of ideas.:D
    Thanks :)
