ASU Cover Increase - Can you beat it?

Hi All,
I have just been informed by Assurant Solutions (Ant Insurance) that my unemployment cover has been increased from £53.00 a month to £102.60 a month.
Unfortunately for me they had "mailing issues" and were unable to give me 30 days notice.
As increases go, its a bit of a whopper and has left me feeling mugged! Can you beat the increase?
Does anyone know of another company that will cover £2k a month for a reasonable outlay

If it's unemployment only cover therer is an age related policy that sometimes proves good value and covers up to £2000 per month.
For example, a 38 year old would pay £49.00 inc IPT for a 30 defered period that will pay out for a maximum of 12 months.0
