Josie_Jump wrote:So perhaps scam is not the right word, but every single person who is using one of these codes is aware that they shouldn't be and therefore taking part in a fraud against Play. I know I sound all moral but personally I think Play are a good company who offer a very good service and I don't think they derserve this to happen to them. But hey don't let that stop you from grabbing a bargain will you ?
It would be interesting to know how many people are ordering random items at £4.99 they don't particularly want just for the sake of getting it free.0 -
Exatly helen21!
They used them the same as the rest of us. I personally did not think I was doing anything wrong. I presumed they had a certain number of "prizes" of £5 and when they ran out that was the end of the offer.
I would hate to see them get into any financial trouble over this but lets face it, they do make a HUGE amount of money.
A new Dvd costs literally pence to make and gets sold for £12+++ And hey if it doesn't work, at least we tried!:T Benjamin has won!!! Am soooo proud. Thank you to everyone who agreed my baby was the cutiest. Want to go round and hug everyone who voted, it means so much to me!:A0 -
Anyway, if you consider it "fraud" then why did YOU do it?!
Least most people just considered it a good offer, not fraud!:T Benjamin has won!!! Am soooo proud. Thank you to everyone who agreed my baby was the cutiest. Want to go round and hug everyone who voted, it means so much to me!:A0 -

Yes, I did use the codes but as I mentioned I then cancelled the orders. Yes it seemed like a good idea at the time but after feeling guilty about scamming a company who have never caused me any problems I cancelled the orders.
Undeservedly Play could get into financial trouble over this, people could lose their jobs and to me saving £5 just isn't worth it.0 -
