Play.com - actual £5 voucher codes, they work!

Summary for those trying to catch up:

1) None of the codes work anymore, so don't bother trying!
2) If you placed an order using a code it looks like the order will be cancelled, although that is yet to be confirmed
3) If you placed too many orders your account could face further action (i.e. you could be banned from play.com)

For those waiting for changes to their account the status should be:
a) order placed
b) packing (or Preordered or Awaiting Stock)
c) processing
d) sent (in which case it will no longer appear in outstanding orders)

At the moment it appears all orders have been changed to processing regardless if it is in stock or not. So looks like they are reviewing all orders.

1st ... Helen got her tooshy banned.

2nd ... Order Process = order placed - processing - packing - processing - shipped.

3rd ... Helen got banned!

4th ... ALL universal codes have been stopped ... yes ALL OF THEM!

5th ... Did I mention Helen got her toosh banned?

6th ... Some orders are going straight to process, even though they are out of stock - likely meaning, you've been caught out and your orders are about to be cancelled.

7th ... hmmm, I forgot this one, but I know it had something to do with Helen - tooshy - banned :rolleyes:

8th ... If your order states 'shipped' whoop whoop whoopy :j

9th ... banned - tooshy - of Helen!

10th ... Check you account for orders cancelled.

11th ... Oh Helen *Ally wags her finger* :rolleyes:

12th ... There is an email being sent out Re: using more than one voucher on your account. If you haven't got it yet, check you account status at Play.com ..... it will show up there if there is a problem .... big red danger signs! can't miss it!

13th ... Aww, Helen .... unlucky number .... it wasn't deliberate honestly But hey ..... new voucher will be on sale very soon when the grumpy up his own toosh manager who banned Helen's toosh will have a ... erm .... once in a life time opportunity to meet Helen's foot ... bagsy being first in the sales que :j

Oh nuts - I'm too late. All of the codes are now invalid.

I only wanted to put it towards my brother's Christmas pressie too. I thought I was going to get my best ever bargain - a box set with an RRP of £49 for £11.99!

Absolutely... this thread's had me in stitches... poor Helen (the sympathy's coming out now ).

I know that Play have put everything to 'Processing', why not be at least a bit decent to us and allow us to cancel the orders we have outstanding, eh?!

(guess then they couldn't catch us and hammer us for being so cheeky if they allowed cancellations )
