Hi guys, just wanted to make anyone who shops with Littlewoods Catalogue aware that they are making changes to accounts from 3rd October. In the past, if you've overpaid on one statement this would reduce how much they ask on your next statement. If you overpaid enough, they would ask you for no payment. From 3rd October, any overpayment you make on your statement will not reduce the minimum payment requested on your next statement, it will be used to clear your balance sooner. As always, you will be required to make the minimum payment requested or your account will go into arrears and this will probably result in charges being slapped on your account - ie usually £12
Guess they will be requesting over the odds each month then !:rotfl:

Thank you for this Missy. I wondered what had happened. I've had a very large bill two months running now - this explains it.
BTW - are you having problems viewing statements online? I can log into my account, but then don't have the option to choose to look at statements.DMP mutual support number 174Total debt now (April 10) £0! - total paid off £30,221 or 100%I'm now debt free after 6 years!!:jNon smoker since June 2006 :j0 -

Responsible behaviour from a catalogue company encouraging their customers to pay less interest? Strange times.0

must admit it makes more sense TBH
i only use littlewoods for interest free deals on special offers like in grabbit/hotdeals
though they do keep trying to push me to 'extending my payment period' to ease the costs
the monster APR doesnt seeem to help on that
