Can the book coupon be 'legally' used at Waitrose? I am just getting my mum into coupons and she shops at Waitrose where they are very generous so I don't want her to use it if it is not allowed like at Tesco.

I wonder if the £5 off kids clothes will scan on £20 of normal shopping at Tesco

Over on PTS someone has reported that it DID NOT scan on £30 of normal shopping, oh well, maybe on any clothes?

It 'could' be accepted in Waitys only if that actual store stocks that particular book (and do expect the SA to check first!). I had one of last month's DM book tokens and I looked in my local Waitys and could not see the book among their display so I didn't use it, knew they would check and say no to it.

I have used a book token there before though, when they did stock the book. Even then it worried me as I was never 100% sure they could redeem it and did not want to upset the applecart in there re coupon-use. As many of us keep saying (and I know you already know this, Harrietxxx), just because something scans it doesn't mean the store can get their money back. Unredeemable coupons will be noticed in the cash office and have been reported on MSE as having caused the tightening up or removing of store coupon policies.

Going by the t&cs on the book tokens and the website, I now think maybe the participating stores might only be those where you can buy National Book tokens (but I am not sure?). I am steering clear of this one I think.

Someone had previously stated that there would be a Mirror voucher today, Sat, for 50% off your bill at Pizza Hut. Same rules apply as the previous email offer. Any ideas guys?

I doubt it (if you mean can she use it without actually buying hte book) - they are like hawks at Waitrose...
