They are always a bit cautious with their money north of the border.
Anyone pick up that the OECD now reckons the UK is back in recession?

Let us forget for the moment that the value of the money has probably been devalued deliberately by the powers that be during the same time frame by (say) 15%, just look what is kicking off in "the piigs" that are still breathing.

Here we go the official index: ................... V---OMG flood the moneysupply
    October 2008---> 217.7 216.0 212.9 2009 210.1 211.4 211.3 211.5 212.8 213.4 213.4 214.4 215.3 216.0 216.6 218.0 2010 217.9 219.2 220.7 222.8 223.6 224.1 223.6 224.5 225.3 225.8 226.8 228.4 2011 229.0 231.3 232.5 234.4 235.2 235.2 234.7 236.1 237.9 238.0 238.5 239.4 2012 238.0 239.9 <--- 2012 February.

Every pound put into the petrol tank puts (say) 66 p into a still increasing government deficit and 33p into the coffers of an oil company profit or a petro currency's economy.

    Wow.

    That was terrible advice.

    Glad I ignored it.

Aberdeen average house price October 2008 = £178,290

Aberdeen average house price October 2011 = £192,047

That was good advice for people who live in my area, ive just checked the land registry and its telling me ive saved over 20k off the price of an average house.

Im not buying an average house though so ive saved a lot more than 20k by not buying yet:)

And how much rental money and agents fees has the average renter paid out since October 2008?

Wouldn't have thought it was far off the £20K mark.

They never give up these people blabbering away, talking up the market, stuck in a time warp, thinking it's all going to go back to the way it was. :rotfl:

They'll still be doing the same in a year's time of falling prices.

Nobody is talking it up. You are a moron.:rotfl:

    That is the RICS.

House prices are going up. Can't you deal with it?

    Are you still renting? Yes?

Another year off your landlords mortgage.
