Encouraging new building that would help to rebalance supply and demand is stupid because prices are too high.
Increasing mortgage lending that would take people out of the rental trap is stupid because prices are too high.
Time to stop wanting and wishing - what's the solution?
We need one soon because we'll end up with a shed load of people who have spent a working life renting and expecting the taxpayer to fund their rent in retirement.0 -
