  • 1.1 million people ARE in negative equity!? Seems that house prices started going up a little bit. I think it's only temporary though as the mortgage rates are rising again, which will slow down the market, so I think we will see further falls.. just check out the property section of moneysearch.co.uk website...

I just noticed there, when did Dervish get banned?
'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher

Not soon enough. Nothing to stop him coming back as dervish2 though, it appears to be what others do.

Nice one mewbs, a significant moment in history. It reminds of the fact that everyone remembers what they were doing when kennedy was shot.
I just checked back, i am off on tuesdays and thursdays. Just about the time we lost dervish i was in the shower pushing one of my troublesome piles back into place.

Not missed but she was a bit misunderstood...she couldn't really explain why she felt the way she did about certain groups of people.
The avatar was quite scary too.

Oh, fc123, I feel she was entirely understood! Anyway, you had to admire her thick skin. I hate to be criticised or taken the wrong way, and she just kept coming back and back for more!

I'm so glad she's gone, but I think that we got in a rut with dervish/uk1998 (or whatever) and the others, and this board will take a bit of time to redevelop another personality if you see what I mean?

But thanks to the Regulars (as mentioned by Mewbie in his now closed thread yesterday), we should do fine!!

    Yes, the avatar was scary!

Which thread of Mewbies? I may have missed it..I will go and hunt now.

I admit, I lost patience with Dervish's posts, but, perhaps they were left up on the board to show the mindset behind those types of beliefs?

I have a feeling we are returning to The World Of Niche. Feels better.;)
