Just back from m&s and have got a great deal on cava wine !. 2 bottles for £8 (normally £5.99 each)is a long standing offer,so i presumed i would get 20% discount on £8 but to my delight,they take 20% off full price (11.98 ) and then also apply the £3.98 which is to make them 2 for £8. So you actually get £6.38 off in total making them 2 bottles for £5.60 !!! Bargain.

Just phoned them and said they're having trouble with their system but if I don't manage to order online today I can do it tomorrow and they will still give me a 20% discount. Got to keep trying during the day cos I might eventually get lucky ;D ;D. Taken easy way out and sent sister to her local to get me what I wanted ;D - providing stock available of course .

Just back from my local M&S, absolutely manic Long queues at the checkouts, hope you are coping well Lucylou, but nice girl handing out biscuits to keep us going.

People had trolley loads of stuff, I was very good and just had a couple of candle holders, bath bombs and a top. Just read my receipt and the candle holders were half price anyway then a further 40% off.....had I known that I would have bought more, lol.

Half an hour to get through till then a further half hour to get out of the car park, M&S open till midnight though so I might go back at 10ish tonight

I think there are still some discounted items available on the site and you can then add the 20% discount at checkout.

The special items aren't flagged up but there are some excellent discounts. Do a search for RUGS, for example, and you'll come up with lots of, erm, rugs, some of which have already been hugely discounted (the crossed out price isn't always the original price, it may have been even higher).

There are also some times in STORAGE - I just bought the three round storage boxes (£10 without the extra 20% off) and they're excellent.

Also try kitchenware, there were some pans and things there. I'm sure there's other stuff, it was also listed in the M&S bargains thread a week or so ago although a lot has sold out.
