Debenhams= student discount ?

Does debenhams offer student discount ?

I have my uni card but not a nus card.
I have heard many stories of shops taking the normal student id and proof for discount without needed the nus card

anyway the women at the store said they do not give student discounts.
I thought they would as they are quite a large store ??

is this coreect ?

    No they don't do student discount. You can't just assume that because they are a big store they will do student discount. There are more shops that don't do student discount than those that do. Most that do offer discount will normally have a sign in the window or by the till. There's no harm in asking just don't be disappointed when they say no.
  • the only parts of debenhams that do do a student discount are some of the shops within it, like topshop or oasis/warehouse (one of those two?). It's a shame!

    Topshop did 15% at the weekend :D Not sure if its a term offer or if its 15% all the time. Was rather pleased though!

    Its normally just at the start of term. Topman and Burtons are the same, they do 15% at the start of term then the rest of the year its 10%.
