Can anybody recommend me a printer at a good price with cheap
ink cartridges. I looked up an old search and Brother printers are very highly
spoke of for their quality and cheap ink.
Your help would most appreciated everyone.

Cheap colour laser here £92.83 but add code stated on page to get £30 off.
Got one for me mum last week it's a cracking little thing.
Replacement toners are £33/1000 page colour £39/2000 page black which compares quite well with some inkjet cartridges only doing a couple of hundred pages."Hey, if love is blind, how come lingerie is so popular?" Cochrane. P673 TNG.0 -
I really rate any Canon Pixma and even the really cheap ones are good value for the price, however my own is this one which I really like

I use compatible ink and find that it works without problems.
It does just about anything you would want an inkjet to do including
printing cd's really easily.I'm Glad to be here... At my age I'm glad to be anywhere!!
I'm not losing my hair... I'm getting more head!!0 -
Thanks, that looks quite neat. Are the toners supplied or do you also need to purchase.0

Brilliant choice of printer coolagarry.
Pity about the price ... bought mine at PC world Monday afternoon.
Reserve and collect for £63 99p0 -
Full set of toners in box. As far as I can tell from my mums printer they are full toners, sometimes laser printers come with part full toners so you get into the consumable buying business real quick.
Last week they were doing an offer where you could get a free black toner PM me an email address and I'll send you the .pdf claim form. Not sure if it will work but worth £39.99 so worth a try."Hey, if love is blind, how come lingerie is so popular?" Cochrane. P673 TNG.0 -

I second Canon. I have an old ip3000. its pretty bog standard and ink cartridges are a doddle and cheap. Had it for years and years now. Prefer it over 'expensive cartridges' dell.0 -
Epsons are cheap to run if you get compatible inks most Epson support them0

Go with your initial find, Brother are good quality and cheap to run, they come with a one year onsite warranty as well.;)0

Thanks for all the tips, it looks like I am going to go for the cheap option of the Brother DCP-135C Compact Colour Inkjet Multifunction Printer £34.99 @ Ryman.0
