I uninstalled zonealarm at the weekend and replaced with AVG. I then tried to tidy up my laptop by uninstalling tuneup utilities trial and Microsoft Office 2003 trial which I never used.
I have windows XP and when you click the start button I have internet and email as the top two left hand buttons.
Internet is fine but when i click email (which used to take me to outlook 2000) it now takes me to internet options !!
I tried going to outlook and it is asking me to set it all up from scratch
Tried system restore to no avail.
Any ideas pls??

Outlook stores your email (and attachments), calendar and contacts together in one file that uses the extension "PST"
If you are using Windows XP the files are in the following locations:C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\OutlookC:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Microsoft\OutlookEx forum ambassador

then if you can find the files, import them into outlook (after making back up copies )Ex forum ambassador

I've tried opening outlook 2000 but I get the error message 'Operation Failed' and when I click OK it just closes down. Any ideas? Tried googling but nothing yet0
