How often can you submit an online meter reading?

Every month? week..want to keep on top of it so we don't get charged way over the top when they decide after months they have not been doing it!!

It depends who you're with.

Scottish Power's website allows you to submit a reading at any time. It then generates a full bill for that period. They do take a while to generate the bill sometimes (3 or 4 working days) and the shortest interval I've tried to generate one for was 15 days, but I expect it would at least allow you do one a week if you wanted to.

I don't know about other suppliers. I know Southern Electric's website didn't work that way when I was with them, but it may have changed now. SE only wanted to bill once a quarter.

With E-on you can only give 3 readings per quarter.
I enter mine at the end of each month.

I enter mine on the first of every month with Scottish Power. I've been doing that for over 3 years and find that when they reassess my direct debit it doesn't vary too much. They've twice put my dd down as well as up.
