Help please. 2 cold upstairs radiators

    just a quick note, the speed does make a difference if it is to high, there are 3 settings( 1,2,3) the best setting is two as it is the most efficient setting.

    if follow the guide for balancing the rads, you should be able to complete the job without messing up the system providing you ensure everything is set how it was before you started if it does not sort the problem!

    however, if you dont feel confident, then i recommend you get a plumber in, ask around local area, or see if her nieghbours etc know a local guy they can recommend

    I thought the thrmostats were only supposed to go on the outlet from the rads, if they are on the inlet will they ever open as they will be seeing hot water all the time?

    the thermostat is measuring the AIR temperature, not the water temperature.
