OMG! America says 'Yes'

Now, in the interests of democracy, we need a third vote - don't we?

I'm sure I heard on the news that they are getting tax breaks as a trade off.

Curiously, the Dow is down 1% from this morning. Some peeps are hard to please, apparently.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Ssshhh. I am trying to get through on the phone to buy some BTL's before everybody jumps back in. What a great weekend for visiting DFS, doing the EA rounds, maybe flashing a bit on some bling (wise investment I believe), or a new something or other.

I am going to party / spend like there's no tomorrow. HIHM - grab your Hat, PickledPink - grab your Pickle, LondonLandLady - grab anything you like... let's go to the ball.
  • The rest of the world must be laughing their socks off.

America (and its Allies) bombs other countries to accept democracy and then, in their own democracy, when the vote goes against them, they vote again.

Why not make it best of 5?

Could have settled it all from the start with a game of conkers.

Tax break or no, either the current generation of US taxpayers or the next one is paying for this.

I saw that too, but it didnt go into what the tax breaks are. Beside they will probably claw back the tax over the long term to pay for all this.
