Inflation has now peaked, so as it stands a 100 quid extra every month will mean more time in the pub and buying DVDs. I could save it I suppose, but where's the fun in that? There has been various reports lately suggesting inflation is now easing.
Your various reports were obviously quite wrong

To the tune of 0.5%. As I mentioned, it's increased the last few times, and isn't showing any sign of slowing just yet."Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0 -

Hi Wolfie. In my opinion we are at peak inflation. Expect 3% base rates come march 2009 sir. Get ready for the resurgence.

My point was basically that people were saying inflation had peaked, yet looking at previous reports it was still increasing. I agree inflation does now look after this most recent report, that it will drop given energy and food prices slowing down, and the drop in oil prices. I still wouldn't count out it going up though given the stability of the banks and how it's affecting the value of the pound."Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0

It has been looking obvious for a couple of months, but say it quietly.'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0
