Hi Guy
I'm trying to get a 60 min clip uploaded to the net, its basically a lecturing clip that i need to show my OU group. The clip is a VRO file on a dvd and is almost 2gb in size, hence why i was looking to convert it. Is there a FREE program that will do this? .....also where should i upload it as Youtube only allow 10 mins clips, all you help is appreciated.
Paul.

not sure about where to upload it to but I would suggest going onto www.download.com and just type in something like 'convert VRO file' and it should give you a load of free or free to try app's that you can quickly download and try. I used it earlier this week and downloaded a program called 'Any Video Converter' and it managed to easily convert a DVD file to an mpeg file...2010 Holiday Money fund £2 Coin Jar = £62 :j

I use http://www.adrive.com/ just sign up for a free account where you get 50gb of online storage.
Uploading 2gb might take a while though, but you will tehn be able to access it from anywhere.

Uh huh...then his students would only have a 2GB download and puzzle as to how to display the contents of the file.0 -
Sorry it was an alternative to uploading to youtube as they only allow 10 mins.

Don't worry, we all make mistakes. There are alternative video hosting websites that allow video of unlimited length. YouTube is not the only choice in the field.
More importantly, YouTube does not accept .vro files.0
