I've been awarded C/Tax benefit as I'm now on IS. I've now got a credit of £97 pounds, can I ask for this back or will they carry it over to next year?
Thanks

You may ask for a refund of Council Tax if account is in credit. This must be done in writing and can take a couple of weeks depending when the LA does cheque runs.
If you foresee that you are on IS for a while prob will be better to get your refund, as CTB will continue over next year.
