New tab in XP doesn't open in "Home page tab".

Anyone have any idea why the new tabs I open R not open in Google as my home page.
I saved it (google) under internet options to be my home page for new tabs,but anytime I try to open a new one I got this:

The webpage cannot be displayed

Most likely cause:
  • Some content or files on this webpage require a program that you don't have installed.
What you can try:

*Search online for a program you can use to view this web content.

*Retype the address.

*Go back to the previous page.

Any ideas????:confused::confused::confused:

  • Hi I'm not sure if this will work, in Internet options, TABS, > settings, Ensure that open new tabs in home page instead of blank page is selected.

    Another Idea in Internet options, General, > Home page, to create home page tabs type each address in ots own line, Try entering another home page address below the original.

    Tried this as well.
    Simply when I open Internet Explorer open 2 tabs with the 2 addresses I entered.
    BUT still new tabs open as above.
    I beleive must be a file where all these changes are saved....
    If can acces this file can edit from there and save it.
    Maybe I'm wrong.:confused:
