Wireless internet keeps losing connection

My wireless internet connection keeps dropping. Sometimes it will work again just by clicking connect, others the diagnose and repair tool says there is a DNS issue. This is then resolved if I restart the DNS service (Occasionally I need to restart the DCHP first).
This is annoying though and my other computer stays connected to the service wirelessly the majority of the time. (I would say all the time but this does lose connection for a minute or so every few weeks).
The PC in question is running on windows vista 32 bit home premium. Nothing much installed on it yet. The wireless connection is through an AzureWare dongle.
I should point out that when it is the DNS issue the computer is still connected to the router, just says its a local connection. When it drops totally (ie red X over the 2 monitors) then connecting it back works for a few minutes.
Any suggestions?

I'd start by going to see if there are updated drivers for the dongle first.0

Have you tried changing the channel frequency within the router settings? You can't be lost if you don't know where you're going.0
