Helpupay Mortgage protection insurance

Hi all
I just wanted to run this past you to see if anyone can confirm they have had the same experience...
I have a policy with Helpupay which covers my mortgage if I'm sick, have an accident or become unemployed.
Earlier this year I was made redundant and claimed on my policy. Everything has been pretty smooth apart from one thing I'm not happy about.
Payments are made to me 30 days in arrears which is pretty normal. However I've been told that if I get another job at any point in-between the 30 day period I will get no payment for any of that month.
This means that if I get a new job on the 29th day of the claim period I'll get nothing from Helpupay for the entire previous 30 days.
Is this correct??

If it is, you'd want to start the new job two days later:D
It probably is right, to be honest. Most of these sorts of policies only work on full months, so if you are off for seven weeks, you'll only get paid for 4.I am a Mortgage adviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
