Credit Card Cheques

Options
Hi All

Hoping someone can comment...

Lloyds TSB keep sending me credit card cheques, even though I've asked them not to

However, when they sent me the credit card cheques for the second time after I asked them not to, I actually read the terms and conditions, and realised they were offering me an introductory rate of 0% for six months, subject to a 3% fee, £3 minimum

I am tempted to write myself a cheque for the maximum and stooze for six months, although the 3% fee, plus the hassle of sorting the minimum payments puts me off, and I can't use my full credit limit (have to leave £100 for "interest and fees" according to Lloyds)

Is it feasible to stooze for 6 months, or am I missing something?

Cheers

JJ

How are you going to make a profit? A 3% fee upfront for a 6 month BT is more than 6% pa so you're going to need a better rate on the money invested than 6% after tax. How are you going to do that?
