Help! Which websites/magazines should I look for house in France?

Hi all, I'm thinking of buying a house in the south of France (one can dream...) and wondered which were the best websites or magazines that I could look at.
Ideally, I want to look at UK or English websites/magazines such as Rightmove or Winkworth. Does anyone know which are the most popular or the ones with the biggest selection?
Thanks!

Well, what with you speaking kermit and all, I would have thought that google France would have given you the answer.
Why don't you move somewhere nice?0 -
I did a quick google and instantly found this:
"SeLoger.com, a leading content publisher of on-line real-estate listings, directories and property-related information in France, is the French equivalent of Rightmove.co.uk. Since its IPO in November 2006, it has returned 78%. It has a very strong competitive position, dominating the market place in terms of pages viewed and advertising. It is a prime beneficiary of the long-term shift from paper to on-line advertising, with first-half 2007 revenues up 60%"0 -
The following website has a link to lots of property in France, as well as information about living in France
www.livingfrance.com
www.french-news.com is France's best selling English newspaper0 -

Well it would seem that google is now either "pay for search" or the OP is a lazy sod.0 -
Thanks, ilovecheese, exactly what I needed.
Captain, where do you suggest that I should move to? And is the south of France not 'nice'? Thank you so much for your valuable input so far...0 -
I assume you have spent plenty of time living or staying in the area you are interested in first?0

Just google "immobilier" along with the town name you want to buy in, and it'll bring up local estate agents.
I'm presuming you speak reasonable french here... By all means look at the english websites, but they're designed to rip off the stupid english who buy in france without speaking french!
Bon chance!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -

Thanks all. I have spent a fair amount of time in the south of France and I really like the area and the lifestyle. I wanted to look at the UK/English websites first before looking at the French sites.
But I understand all your concerns and recommendations. Though I wanted to see where the Captain was recommending...0
