Using Your Card Abroad

I've used my Flex account Debit Card for years in both Dubai & Bulgaria - always the full Visa rate of exchange and no additional charges whatsoever.0

When used with obscure currencies the exchange rate can be different to the published mid-market rate on sites such as www.xe.com . The Visa website doesn't list exchange rates for obscure currencies, so it's hard to work out why this happens - it's probably just that Visa can only obtain the mid-market rate for currencies that it deals with in large quantities. However, the Nationwide card is still cheaper than any other way of accessing cash.Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks
