So after a lovely holiday, me and the boyfriend returned to an E74 error with our 360. Joyful. Well, he called up and found out that to get it repaired will cost £60! Well, we just about managed to scrape that together so he called up today to pay... only they only accept credit or Visa debit cards, so he can't even do it!
So - to my real point. Anybody know of anywhere reliable we can check out to get it repaired? (for less than £60, preferably a lot less!)
Thanks guys.

you tried youtube for help on fixing it, dont know if they work0 -
How old is it and where is it from? Is it still under warranty? If not it may still be repairable/replaceable by the retailer under the Sale of Goods Act."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

If it has red ring send it back to microsoft they fix them for free, unless you have fiddled with it but even then they some times fix them for free.
E74: AV cable error... There is a problem with the AV cable, try using a different AV cable. If the cable is known to be working then there is a 90% chance it's a scaler chip problem (the "ANA" or "HANA" chip connected directly to the AV cable) in rare cases it is the GPU.Nothing to see here, move along.0 -
