Npower Fridgesaver Scheme - Help!

About 18 months ago, I participated in a scheme to buy a reduced price energy efficient fridge with the help of Npower. I was in receipt of Working Tax Credit at the time and paid £75 for a fridge freezer.

After a few months, last December, the freezer stopped working. Currys, where I got the fridge/freezer from replaced it for me without a problem. The replacement has now stopped working and I've phoned Currys who tell me that this model has been discontinued.

They will only allow me a fridge of the same value, which there isn't one!

What can I ask of them? I am fast running out of time but do have a return code from Head office, the store are stalling and won't replace the faulty goods.

Help! Can anyone offer advice?
