Hey,
I'm asking this for someone who owns 2 laptops, psp and a ps3. He wants to set them all up so they work together (internet and through a LAN so he can play his music from his laptop from his ps3 etc.) To have internet he needs mobile internet. I saw on vodafones website a wireless router which i believe works with mobile internet and it operates LAN http://online.vodafone.co.uk/dispatch/Portal/appmanager/vodafone/wrp?_nfpb=true&_pageLabel=template09&pageID=BS_0202&wt_oss=router but i'm not sure if it works with other mobile internet operators (ie o2.)
Is this an easy task? And what will he need/do?
Apologises if this doesn't make much sense, if it doesn't, please ask questions and i'll phone him and ask. Thank you. Carrie

I have a sneaky feeling that may be tied to Vodafone but it's worth a call to find out. There are others on the market though and I think Ebuyer sell one.0

I would be surprised if it does work with other networks, as selling you their router to use with another network wont make them much money0

I know you can buy the router seperately from ebay so i assume it can be used with other networks.
Is what he's wanting to do possible?Accept that some days you're the pigeon and some days you're the statue.0
