I have ordered with Amazon before and have never really had any problems, however, my last order has been nothing but problems.

I ordered a week ago a dvd, a game and a game accessory for my son's birthday, which was yesterday.

At the time of ordering no delays were mentioned.

I kept checking the website to see whether they had been despatched and each time I went on the website the date for despatch was later than before

A week later, still not even despatched and I am being told my order will arrive sometime between 25 december and 19 january 2006!!

I cannot cancel via the website as according to their website it is currently in the process of being despatched!!

I have now had to send an e-mail in the hope of cancelling this order as my son has gone out to the shops today and bought one of the items they cannot supply for 4-6 weeks and their expected delivery date is no good for the other item which was supposed to be a christmas present.

Don't know whether I have just been unlucky, but this has put me off ordering from them.

I ordered some things last week and although it said it could take up to 25th, it came within 3-4 days.

I hope you get your stuff soon, it may well be that they being overly cautious.
