My and my OH got side swiped by a van this morning and he carried on driving. He has damaged the car. Is there somewhere I can check online to see what is registered to a registration plate? I have reported it and need to go make a statement later but Im sitting here shaking and starting to doubt whether or not I have remembered the registratrion plate right.

My heart feels like its coming out of my chest!!

That happened to ma a while ago. I gave the number plate to my insurance company and they tracked the van down.
Make sure if he has to have time off work, his boss puts in a loss ofearnings claim. keep all bus/taxi receipts for when his van is in for repair and claim them back too.
Good luck, hope you your bloke aren't hurt xxx

shouldn't you report it to the police? Driving away from an accident is a crime I believe..

They will give you a crime no. which you will be able to pass on to your insurance company. Dont worry, have a cuppa, let the insurance company deal with everything, thats what you pay them for. You and yor OH, after all have done nothing wrong, so chill!!!!
