Marconi Warrants - What to do ????

Not knowing that much about stocks and shares I bought £500 worth of Marconi shares a few years ago. Shortly after this the company share prices went down the swaney (oh well that's the risk you take when you buy shares I suppose
)
I now hold 17 Ordinary Shares in Marconi and 884 Warrants
Can anyone explain what these warrants are and suggest my options as regards them. I think they are an option to buy further shares but I'm not sure whether this is totally accurate - I'm not even sure whether buying further shares in Marconi is a good idea anyway :doh:
Any information would be appreciated...

Hi there,
Yes, they're an option - five warrants to buy one share. MSE does not allow comment on individual shares ( though I think that I can say that Marconi has been pretty dreadful so far :-( ) but you can discuss the company here -
