Problem with a fraud buyer, left negative feedback on purpose

What should i do??????

I sold an item on ebay (Buy it now). The buyer left me negative feedback on the same day he bought (about 5-6 hours after)?!?!?! I have not yet sent anything to him. How could he leave me negative feedback???


and How could ebay let him leave negative feedback on the same day?????
I am sure he is doing on purpose since I have sold about 30 items a day.
I reported to ebay about this and my listing has been removed!!!!!?!?!?!

A day later the comment (on the feedback) was removed but neg feedback is still on til now. Will they remove that negative feedback soon?

and this really ruins my business. After the negative was left, I could only sell for 10 or less a day Now I am just waiting for that feedback to be removed so that my business will be as good as before.

The thing is my listing was also removed after I reported that the feedback was left on purpose. I cannot do anything about this when I report further to ebay because the item is NOT valid or invalid.....:mad: :mad:

There may have been a violation with the item you were selling for it to be removed. What were you selling? Someone obviously has a grudge against you, what did they put in their feedback and have you upset any customers lately?

Just had another thought.....did you leave feedback for them and if so what did you put as this could have also caused the your listing to be removed and the account limits you mentioned.

I cant think why a feedback comment would be removed by eBay yet the negative rating remains. The only reason they do that is if the comment itself contained something it shouldnt have e.g. a web address, name, personal details etc or was defamatory.

Is there some way you can think to report the buyer for not complying with eBay policy? Incorrect or invalid phone number or invalid email address perhaps?

Have they paid for the item? If not after 7 days start a NPB dispute and if they dont respond the feedback will be removed.

If you post their ID we could take a look for you to see if there is something else we can add.

There is a mazdaspring on eBay that is no longer a registered user and has private feedback....is that the account you are referring to?

No, mazdaspring (ebay) is not my account. I am still selling items at the moment but they dont do well after neg- feedback left. I have got 900+ feedback. and just receive this first negative feedback. Ok, I got message from ebay as below.

It is obviously said that "feedback will be removed". However please anyone reassure me that it will definitely be removed as it's now 4 days after I reported to ebay already.

I wouldn't worry about the feedback, it should be removed. Worry about why your listing was removed - what kind of thing are you selling?

There are vigilante buyers who use throw away accounts to buy up items they feel breach ebay rules and which they have reported but never get pulled, read some of the community board threads, they will make your hair curl.

If you are selling something in a grey area, or have terms and conditions that annoy people then it might be just something like that. However malicious bidding for this purpose rarely achieves anything as the feedback will be removed. However it may well have drawn ebay's attention to your listings so you might want to double check that all the remaining ones are in order.

The feedback has not been removed yet. It's about a week already!!!!
I have sold about 20 items after that negative feedback was left til now (about 7 days). Before they were sold out about 30 items a day !!!!

Noone can take a responsibility on my lost. It's such an unfair
Anyone know how long the feedback will be romoved? or regarding to ebay message above, are they not going to remove that feedback?
(I am selling scarf+jewel+a few stuff. They are not brand name so they can't be fake.This is really my first negative feedback)
