Took out a Debenhams card recently, spent a lot and they were doing 30% discount if applied. Made a big difference and saved me loads, whne card arrived it was a credit card not the store card I was led to believe, not a problem as I always intended to pay it off. Basically when it was paid my other half paid the statement value not realising I had returned £108 of the stuff so I had to ring and ask for a refund, was told upto 10 days
It's now almost 4 weeks later and still no cheque as requested, have made 4 long phone calls to their Indian call centre always been told it has been issued and to wait. Have now had enough of this but cannot ever get to speak to anyone who can give me a straight answer, does anyone know a number for there Leeds office.
The other thing I thought is to do a small claims against them and also add interest at the same rate as they charge, is this viable or am I wrong in thinking I could do this.

Have you written to them?
Mark the letter formal complaint, and ask for the money back, with any interest paid.
I don't think the courts will entertain you unless you have proof you have attempted to get the money back with out using them.0
