Sorry Sunk was that food bills that you sent off.

I am putting for 2 adults and one child JOKE here he eats more than I do, aged 14 and growing daily, £400 food and I will not budge one inch from it as the OR can have the bills. We dont eat fancy meals, they are all home cooked on the whole as well.. yes we can eat junk cheap meals, sorry I was not brought up that way, but I dont mean steaks either.. well not for me or mum she is veggie, my son has one a month! my treat! I also have to eat fresh fish three times a week and fish is not cheap. Medical reasons for having to eat it.

I think there is just too many differing ORs and there should be a basis that these things are based on, not just chance of the week or day with the OR.

We get a small amount of Housing Benefit (and I mean a v small amount) and same for Council tax. What I did was add them to my income then put full amount of rent and council tax. Makes easier reading and more details of Income and Expenditure.

You need house insurance what if you got burgled or there was a fire!!!!
"Well, that sounds like a pretty good deal. But I think I got a better one. How about I give you the finger, and you give me my phone call"

We had a fire in our house a few years ago. DD left her straighteners on and totally destroyed her room. We had never had contents insurance before but More Than rang me about 3 months before the fire and luckily I decided to take it out - THANK GOODNESS I did, they were brilliant and it covered everything even repainting the living room which got a bit of water damage. They also came in within 2 days of the fire to do all the cleaning and cleaned the stair carpet and replaced absolutely everything in her room that was damaged.

    Hi
    Rylynn
Yes it was the food bill.
I also put down £40.00 (seperately) per month college/schools meals.
I sent all my receipts off to show this was essential living, not junk items/alcohol etc & by no means a nice piece of lamb or steak (been years since i can afford to feed a family of 5 on a good cut of meat.
My kids are 17/15/13 so they eat the same as adults.
One I home educate so he is having 3 meals a day.
The cost of essential food items has rocketed & the OR HAS to allow for this & can not work on old guidelines.

No its listed as a seperate item on the Household Expenditure Spreadsheet, no set amount given, just a note to check for exemption.

I have seen OR,s claim it should come out of housekeeping though, but it appears that is wrong as they have it listed seperaty
Thats it, i am done, Blind-as-a-Bat has left the forum, for good this time, there is no way I can recover this account, as the password was random, and not recorded, and the email used no longer exits, nor can be recovered to recover the account, goodbye all …………. :(
